INSIDE THE BLACK JEWISH COMMUNITY - MET A TRANS RABBI

I went to Washington DC to sit down with members of the Black Jewish community to have real conversations and get a deeper understanding of their identity, faith, and experiences. In this episode, I speak with Rabbi ManNishtana and Rabbi Kosch Frazier, a Black trans Jew, to hear their perspectives directly. We talk about what it means to be part of the Black Jewish community, the challenges they face, and the misconceptions people often have. My goal wasn’t to judge or debate but to listen, learn, and understand. This is about having honest dialogue and giving people the space to tell their story in their own words.
