Andrew Pritchard was a major UK drug smuggler who orchestrated the trafficking of $130 million worth of cocaine from the Caribbean to Europe. He started by smuggling drugs in concealed suitcases for the UK club scene before escalating to massive shipping container operations. Despite being acquitted in a high-profile 2004 customs bust, Pritchard was ultimately arrested after a high-speed chase in 2013 and sentenced to 15 years in Belmarsh prison. Since his release, he has authored two biographies, "Urban Smuggler" and "Empire of Dirt," and runs the AP Foundation, an ex-offender charity dedicated to steering youth away from crime. William Roger Reaves is a former pilot, boat captain, and prolific drug smuggler who flew massive loads of cocaine and marijuana from Colombia to the US for the Medellín Cartel. An associate of infamous figures like Barry Seal (played by Tom Cruise in "American Made") and Pablo Escobar, Reaves spent over 33 years imprisoned across five different countries, including Mexico, Australia, and the US. In 2016, he published a memoir from prison, "Smuggler," and he now lives in Santa Barbara, California. Chet Sandhu is a former smuggler who trafficked an estimated $50 million worth of illegal steroids. In the mid-1990s, he operated a massive trafficking network that sourced steroids from Karachi, Pakistan, and smuggled them into the UK via routes including the Netherlands, France, and Spain by bribing airport security. Following his arrest, Sandhu was sentenced to serve over four years in the infamous Fontcalent correctional facility in Alicante, Spain. He has since authored two books, "From King of Karachi to Lockdown in the Costa Del Crime" and "Self-Made, Dues Paid," and he now runs a CBD company. David McMillan is a British-Australian former drug smuggler who trafficked an estimated $17 million worth of heroin internationally. Between the early 1980s and 2012, McMillan was arrested multiple times for smuggling heroin through Southeast and Central Asia to markets in the US and Europe. Since leaving the trade, he has worked as a public speaker and authored two books, "Escape" and "Unforgiving Destiny." Owen Hanson is a former University of Southern California football player who went from smuggling steroids in college to running the ODOG Enterprise, a massive illegal sports betting operation. After expanding into cartel-backed money laundering and drug trafficking, Hanson was arrested by the FBI in 2015 and sentenced to over 21 years in federal prison. He served nine years in prison following his arrest and forfeited $5 million in assets.
