Asante was unharmed, and weirdly the next day we caught her and Ozala sitting peacefully and close together (until Oz remembered she had a reputation to uphold and stood up). There had been attitude between Ozala and Shufai, always food related as Oz is very food aggressive. Oumbi's trouble radar was clicking away, so when Shufai put a restraining hand on his mum's shoulder it all kicked off. Unfortunately Shufai went to aunt Asante for comfort, and that caused Ozala to go for her. Poor Asante, who had done nothing wrong, ended up outside. There's a pecking order in most societies, including humans, and being at the bottom of the pile is difficult.
