Artemis II Capsule EPIC Reentry Sights and Sounds

The Artemis II crew put on a spectacular show for every space-watch geek today. Most of the actions were recorded and are now shared across the web. The flaming trail behind the vehicle was incredible, particularly when pieces of the spacecraft appeared to separate and burn up on reentry. But this is what I don’t get. The sound of the spacecraft traveling at 25,000 mph makes its own sound. But the “bump” sound you hear is worrying.
