DRC's iconic 'Living Statue' superfan makes appearance at the World Cup #shorts

One of DR Congo’s most recognisable fans has brought his famous statue pose to the World Cup, standing with his arm raised at Guadalajara Stadium. Michel Kuka Mboladinga’s signature pose honours Patrice Lumumba, the country’s first prime minister and independence hero, and first made him a viral figure during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
