Iran says Europe's silence on Israeli attacks makes it complicit

During a press conference in Tehran on Tuesday held alongside the funeral of Supreme Leader Khamenei, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baqaei criticized European countries for what he called their failure to defend the principles of international law and human rights. He said Europe "owes" Iran for remaining silent, arguing that failing to speak out against injustice amounts to being complicit in the crimes committed.
