Boston man lucky to be alive after jumping into the Charles River to save his dog

Hans Nagrath is feeling extra lucky to be alive after jumping into the Charles River in Boston, Massachusetts on Marathon Monday to save his dog. He tells WBZ that his dog “Benny” ran off to catch some geese and dove into the chilly water. Without thinking, Hans jumped in after him, nearly drowning himself.
