Description
What happens when you decide a tank engine isn’t powerful enough… and aim for 2,000 horsepower?
In this video, we lay out our biggest engineering plan yet — taking a tank engine and pushing it into completely new territory with ECU control, twin turbos, and serious internal upgrades. This isn’t clickbait or fantasy talk — this is a real, thought-out plan that we’re working towards step by step.
The engine upgrade is destined for one of our Centurions, specifically the Gulf War AVRE, complete with its iconic bulldozer blade. After talking through the engine plans, power targets, and challenges ahead, we get stuck straight into some hands-on work by starting the fitment of the dozer blade to the tank.
This is the beginning of a major build — heavy engineering, historic armour, and some ambitious ideas that may or may not be completely sensible.
If you enjoy tanks, fabrication, engineering projects, and seeing big plans actually turn into reality, you’re in the right place.
