Qantas reveals new feature of world-first non-stop flight from Sydney to London | #yahooaustralia

To combat the discomfort of the 22-hour flight, Qantas has introduced a wellness zone that every passenger can access between the Economy and Premium Economy Cabins. Inside the section there’ll be TV screens guiding passengers through body movements to help with the stiffness associated with long-haul flights. The area will also include a selection of free refreshments that customers can help themselves to. Qantas CEO Vanessa Hudson said that “The aircraft has been designed from the ground up for ultra long-haul travel, with a cabin built around science and combatting jetlag.” The new route’s first flights will go on sale in February 2027, and the planes will be officially taking to the skies in October.
