David vs the Media: Freedom for homeschoolers

Homeschooling families spoke up, made a reasonable case, and refused to be ignored. ACT listened, Laura McClure took their concerns to the Minister, and the Government changed course. That is how democracy is supposed to work: people affected by bad rules make themselves heard, MPs do their job, and Wellington backs down. A good win for homeschoolers - and a reminder that intrusive regulations can be rolled back when people push together.
