Tractor fishing in the Caspian Sea at Bandar-e Anzali, Iran. Pan over the shore of a beach, to the ocean. A group of fisherman stand on the back of a tractor with a cart behind it. The fishermen untangle the net. The tractor driver sits on the red, rusty tractor. Iranian fishermen sort out the net. Close up on an old man, cutting the net with a penknife. Another tractor reverses into frame, its net lowered into the sea. A man stands in the sea, holding the net. A large fishing trawler floats near the shore, as men bring up nets. Dozens of men pull up a massive net, as the nearest man stares into the camera whilst working. Lots of people working along the coast, tractors appearing far into the distance. Old men hoise the nets from the ocean. Dozens of fish are dropped onto the wet sand, flopping around. Huntley Film Archives is a film library holding tens of thousands of films. The large majority of the films are documentaries. Films cover a wide range of subjects and production dates range from the 1890’s to the 2020’s. As with all libraries we make no judgement on the content of our holdings and make them available for educational purposes for all to see. Films may have content or express opinions some may think inappropriate or offensive, but it is not the work of a library to censor educational resources. Films should be viewed with historical objectivity and within a context relevant to the times in which they were produced
