CCTV showed Waaetie launching a sudden and prolonged assault, striking the victim 21 times with plastic chairs, punching him and stomping on him while the elderly man begged for mercy. The attack left the victim with broken bones, deep lacerations, dental injuries, ongoing concussion symptoms and PTSD.
