The art, music, and references to old Sonic titles are amazing to see and hear. Some stages seem inspired by Sonic Adventure 1, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic CD, and Sonic Mania Plus, while the menu and probably some characters take cues from Sonic Rush DS. Metal Sonic has far more mechanics than the others tho, you have to dodge attacks, lower his health bar, and more. If you fail, you get the bad ending where Amy Rose isn’t saved, but if you take him down, you unlock the good ending.
