David Stroud made sexual motivated to a woman on a train back in April, asking to kiss her and grabbing her hair.
Yet under a new law introduced on April 1st Stroud has been sentenced for his actions.
The law bans harassment motivated by a person's sex, with 26 men arrested so far, according to the British Transport Police.
Stroud says he was 'unlucky' with the timing of the new legislation, insisting he's been 'wrongly portrayed as a monster'.
Stroud has been sentenced to a 12-month Community Order and 150 hours of unpaid work.
