The Language 😬 German sounds so intense—even “good morning” feels like someone’s yelling at you. I was constantly checking if people were mad, but nope, that’s just how it sounds. ⸻ 2. Slow Internet 📉 I expected high-speed everything, but the internet here can be painfully slow. Uploading a file feels like time-traveling to the dial-up era. ⸻ 3. High Income Tax 💸 My first paycheck was a reality check. Almost half of it was gone—hello, tax shock! ⸻ 4. German Bureaucracy 📝 Everything involves paper, appointments, and waiting… lots of waiting. Nothing is simple, and “online” is basically a myth here. ⸻ 5. The Weather 🌧️ Grey skies are the norm, and the sun is a rare celebrity.
