Hyderabad police have arrested a Union Minister's son in connection with a Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) case. The arrest follows a complaint filed by the mother of a seventeen-year-old minor at the Pet Basheerabad Police Station, alleging sexual assault. According to law enforcement officials, the accused had been absconding for over six days since the complaint was registered on May 8. He was apprehended near a technology park under the Narsingi police station limits. Following his arrest, he underwent a medical examination and was produced before a magistrate, who subsequently remanded him to judicial custody. While the accused's legal counsel and father stated that the surrender was made with the expectation of securing bail, authorities confirmed the judicial remand.
