The history of dog training is darker than you think.

What happens when you connect the dots? This changed how I see dog training forever. Much of our history of partnering with and training dogs runs through conquest, slave-catching, colonial enforcement, military programs, police work, prisons, and the weaponization of dogs against both humans and other animals. That doesn’t mean every modern trainer supports those things.
