Hero MotoCorp CEO: EVs Are A Marathon, Flex-Fuel Vehicles Offer A Practical Path

In conversation with Siddharth Zarabi, Group Editor, Business Today, at BT India's Most Sustainable Companies 2026, Hero MotoCorp CEO Harshavardhan Chitale said consumers need not worry about higher ethanol blends as flex-fuel vehicles are designed to automatically adapt to different fuel mixes without affecting performance. He emphasized that sustainability must remain affordable, noting that E85 fuel is cheaper and flex-fuel vehicles are nearing price parity with conventional models.
