Episode 42 - with guest Drayton Michaels

Our guest this week is Drayton Michaels. Drayton has been working with dogs professionally for 24 years.  He is a graduate of the Academy For Dog Trainers in 2007 and completed the course Living & Learning with Animals conducted by Dr. Susan Friedman.  In 2009 Drayton released the very first documentary about Pit Bull dogs The Pit Bull Hoax. It featured Dr Ian Dunbar, Jean Donaldson, Dr. Nick Rodman and Diane Jessup. Drayton also featured in the film Beyond The Myth (Netflix) 2011 a film about the perils of BSL (Breed Specific Legislation). Drayton has appeared on numerous NYC & NJ news programs, including NBC's The Today Show, discussing positive dog training and Pit Bull Advocacy.  In 2024 Drayton completed his first book, The Puppy Parents Handbook.
