The Torn Bannermen laying siege to Crägholdt may have been defeated, but that's only the first step in getting to the bottom of what's going on here. The defenders of the ruins may once have been people, but now they are vessels possessing horrific power and are sworn to the defence of their master's abode at all costs. We're pretty mighty adventurers, but these guardians have strength of their own that shouldn't be underestimated. Eder and Bisquit are not invulnerable and once even one of them falls, it gets a lot harder to prevent a large group of foes from swarming the backline.
