Crowd erupts outside courthouse after Karmelo Anthony verdict announcement

After a jury found Karmelo Anthony guilty of murder, the crowd outside the Collin County Courthouse broke out into shoving, crying and shouting. Supporters of Anthony chanted “Free Karmelo,” while others celebrated the verdict and called for justice for Austin Metcalf. Protesters on opposing sides traded insults and shouted over one another as deputies stood nearby and monitored the scene.
