6 Months After Tree Forming, Girard’s Fuchsia Azalea

This has been in my yard for close to 20 years. Larger than I preferred for the location it's in. Plan to lift up the canopy for more under-planting and reduce the width. Started the brutal cutting late 2024 but hurts my wrist so had to stop! Waited 2025 after bloom but procrastinated to Fall. Did some major cutting and likely removed most blooms for 2026. Now in early 2026. On track for bloom! Will see how things go this summer to shape this.
