catastrophic engine failure after missed safety recall CFMOTO Z-Force 1000

As it turns out I was unaware of a safety recall on my side by side and did exactly what you were not supposed to do which was wash it in the winter and I'm guessing that has what has caused catastrophic engine failure on my 2018 CFMOTO Z-Force 1000. Obviously I have no way to say for sure other than the fact that it is a low kilometer machine and the last time I had it out it worked perfectly and I even made videos that day and then aside from that was only driving it off the trailer to park it in front of my garage after washing it and then it sat for a few days in the cold and I did not know the throttle cable had filled with water and froze so then when I tried to start it and give it some gas it revved out to the max for a few seconds. I'm going to guess I'm going to get stuck with the repair bill but I'm really hoping that the company CF Moto is willing to help because they never sent me the recall notice which would have prevented this from happening.
