The Super Saiyan... Fish?

My other interests outside of paleontology and zoology aren’t really all too discussed on the channel since there isn’t much of a reason to bring them up, but among them is Dragon Ball. I’ve been a massive fan for many years now since I was in high school and there’s so much to appreciate about the series that has stuck with me and makes me inspired as a creative, from the fights, the transformations, especially Super Saiyan, the dynamic characters and the panelling of the original manga, not too mention as well the popularisation of a whole genre of anime. Therefore, the description of the animal I’ll be talking about today is a really neat intersection connecting some of my favourite things, and that is the naming of a rather neat looking fish described off the coast of Okinawa. Named as Vanderhorstia supersaiyan, it's time to go even further beyond... In ichthyology, anyways! I hope you enjoy!
