Lotus Emeya 400 kW Charging Test (8-80%): Alpitronic HYC 400 Tech Breakdown - Pfalzwerke!

This was the fastest charging session I have ever recorded. The test took place at a hub operated by Pfalzwerke, which is the 6th largest CPO in Germany with around 1700 charge points. On their site, I found the Alpitronic HYC 400. I originally tried to pay with a credit card, but the terminal rejected it. That was a lucky break. The ad-hoc credit card price was €0.79/kWh. I switched to the Cariqa app, which I knew about from my previous research. While writing an article analyzing Shell’s dynamic pricing model, I discovered that Pfalzwerke and Cariqa were one of the few offering dynamic pricing in Germany besides Tesla.
