Description
The ongoing programme by the Lagos State Government has been extended to benefit over 1,000 officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, providing free eye tests, corrective glasses, and health checks.
Speaking at the event, the Commander of the Lagos Strategic Command, ACGN Abubakar Wali, said the initiative will strengthen the agency’s operations, noting that healthy officers are more effective in tackling drug abuse and related crimes across Lagos.
He reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to working closely with the Lagos State Government to keep communities safe, and expressed appreciation to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Senior Special Assistant on Transport and Logistics, Hassan Adekoya, for extending the health initiative to NDLEA officers.
