Description
Union Home Minister Amit Shah targeted the previous Biju Janata Dal government during a public programme in Bhubaneswar.
While inaugurating and laying foundation stones for development projects worth ₹3,275 crore at the IDCO Exhibition Ground, Amit Shah said that the development which did not happen in the last two decades will be completed in the next five years.
Without directly naming the previous government, Shah criticised the past administration and said that despite people giving repeated mandates, Odisha did not see enough development. He assured that the present government will accelerate development across the state.
He also said that the sugar mill in Badamba has become operational again as promised and assured that a sugar mill will also start in Nayagarh.
