How Weapons Were Repaired in Ancient Times 😯❤️

Imagine you accidentally break the Monkey King's magical golden staff. How could you repair it perfectly in ancient times, without electric welding? First, you join the two broken parts and tie them together with a rope. But it looks terrible and breaks at the slightest tug. So, you try something else. You apply glue to the ends, align the pieces, and reinforce them with iron plates. Now it looks much sturdier. But, upon closer inspection, the repair marks are still obvious. And you don't want the Monkey King to notice. So, you trim both ends, leaving a small protruding section so they interlock. Then, you join the two parts together. And the marks almost completely disappear. But there is still a problem. If someone pulls sideways, they could come apart again. So, you cut a square hole in the center of the joint. Then, you insert a wooden wedge and hammer it in until it fits tightly. And, in a matter of seconds, everything is locked in place. The small interlocking piece prevents sideways movement. And the wedge stops it from pulling apart forward or backward. That is how the two parts are perfectly joined. #stories #shorts
