Description

Feb 27, 2026 10:35am In this video, presumably by the tire tracks and bumper piece, a car accident had caused a vehicle to drive into a power circuit box that sat before the outbound light rail track and the freight track and had caused the freight track circuit detection to be temporarily disabled at this crossing. First the Sacramento Regional Transit light rail train inbound on the SACRT Gold Line passes through the Olson Drive railroad crossing as normal due to the functions for the light rail tracks and circuits not being affected luckily for the system or else they would have to have put up a bus bridge until the crossing is fixed but this is not the case. As the second train, the Union Pacific Railroad Florin Flyer Local freight train on the UP Placerville Branch freight track approaches the crossing and stops at the temporary stop sign for the crossing to be protected by the conductor so the train could pass through the Olson Drive railroad crossing and let cars know the train is passing through. This crossing has been like this for days before I filmed this.
