Stephen's Railway Adventures - June 2026

In this episode we begin at Knottingley with 99006 on its first run to Drax with 66749 in tow. We then move to Leeds Midland Road and see 70003, now carrying Heavy Haul Rail branding and 66537 in full Heavy Haul Rail livery arriving on to Midland Road depot after working a service from Ribblehead to Hunslet. We then visit Scotland, and see 45407 and 37518 on 'The Jacobite' at Corpach, and a couple of 158s on the Kyle Line. We then visit Birch Coppice and see 66765 and 66726 tackling the steep gradient out of the terminal . While in the area, we also visit Atherstone and catch Lumo liveried 222601, formerly 222001.
