Doug Ford denies undermining Montreal’s bid for defence bank

After Quebec’s political class dismissed Toronto’s strategy of using a possible Quebec referendum as a way to hurt Montreal’s chances of landing the new multinational defence bank, Ontario Premier Doug Ford responded by saying he didn't believe in attacking other bids. A final decision has yet to be made on which Canadian city will host the bank. Montreal is competing with Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver. That decision is up to the Canadian government.
