Inferno tears through Dominican Republic beach resort

Drone footage shows a lethal fire at the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach Hotel in Bayahibe, Dominican Republic, which forced nearly 1,700 guests to evacuate. The DAEH emergency service reported that 46-year-old Italian Francesca Valentino died in the blaze. Additionally, nine people required medical attention, including guests and responders. Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has not yet commented.
