Redmill Saragossa Road Railroad Crossing, Saragossa, AL

*originally recorded on 2-28-26* Signal on the left: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. Signal on the right: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights. After catching NS 319 in downtown Jasper, I decided to chase it back up to Saragossa as I wanted to get another video of this 172-car monster of a train. After a bit of waiting, I was able to get another video of this nearly two-mile-long train passing through the unincorporated community of Saragossa, AL. After this, I went on back home to Huntsville for the evening. Sometime after I last filmed this crossing back in 2023, NS replaced all of the gate lights here with RECO LED ones.
