Double Fairlie "Merddin Emrys" leaving Porthmadog on Thursday 28th May 2026. Sounding & Looking FAB!

Merddin Emrys seen leaving Porthmadog, with a bit of wheelspin. Currently running in a temporary unlined black livery. While it spent the 2025 season painted in green, the locomotive was quickly returned to service ahead of schedule following its major boiler overhaul. To get it back on the tracks to cover services while another locomotive, James Spooner, is in the works, it was turned out in this basic black scheme. The end of my video shows the stunning scenery either side of the Cob !!
