This week begins with a massive clean out, a change of plans, and the decision to head deep into the dunes for one of our most remote camps yet. But on the way in, things start to feel pretty uncertain. The truck begins showing signs that something isn’t right, and with no easy answers, no quick help, and a long way still to go, we’re left hoping it isn’t the start of a much bigger problem. Once we finally make it to camp, Jackson gets to work trying to figure out what’s going on, while also dealing with a separate issue in the diff. Thankfully, the rest of the trip turns into exactly what we needed. Eavie is back with us this week, we build a communal fire pit, spend time with good friends, and turn a giant sand dune into a massive homemade slip ’n slide.
