A Young Hunter! 🐣 | Little Pied Cormorant at Boat Harbour

Check out this *juvenile Little Pied Cormorant* dried out and resting on the rocks at Boat Harbour, Kurnell. While the adults are famous for their crisp "tuxedo" look—stark white below and jet black above—this youngster still sports a *darker, mottled head and throat.* As it matures, those dusky feathers will fade into the clean white face and neck we usually see.
