Revelation 22 Explained: The River of Life, the Tree of Life, and the Final Invitation: Part 28

Revelation 22 brings the book of Revelation to its beautiful conclusion. The Bible begins with a garden, and it ends with a garden-city where the curse is removed, the river of life flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb, and the tree of life is restored. In this lesson, we examine the river of life, the tree of life, the healing of the nations, the removal of the curse, the promise that God’s servants will see His face, and the final invitation: “Come.” Revelation does not end with beasts, fear, or confusion. It ends with life, fellowship, holiness, warning, hope, and grace. This chapter reminds Christians that God’s plan has not failed, Christ’s coming is certain, the faithful will reign with Him forever, and the final word of Scripture still calls every thirsty soul to come to the water of life freely. God's Plan of Salvation: Hear the Word (Romans 10:17), Believe in Jesus (John 3:16), Repent (Luke 13:3), Confess Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:10), and be baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38).
