There are so many possibilities that you can do with interchangeable faces or even just components in general on a golf club . These taylormade wedges which have now been discontinued were brought out with faces that you could replace once the grooves wore out . I have been taking advantage of this since receiving a 3d printer and have been designing different training aids that fit straight in . This once was modelled from a training aid that I saw @RetroGolfGuy post with a club that is actually made like this .
