Flight Deck Crews | (1943) USN Carrier Operations

An original colour 1943 recruitment and training film detailing the complex but pivotal role played by United States Navy aircraft carrier flight deck crews. It shows Grumman Wildcats and TBF Avengers landing, "spotted", re-armed and refuelled aboard a light fleet carrier conducting training operations off the US West Coast.
