Scots ‘may have been EXPOSED’ to deadly ‘rat virus’ as NHS Scotland issues warning

HEALTH bosses are urgently trying to trace a number of Scots who may have been exposed to deadly hantavirus. The rat virus broke out on cruise ship MV Hondius earlier this month, when it was travelling from Argentina to Cape Verde. Public Health Scotland and NHS boards say they are racing to contact a “small number of individuals” who may have had contact with infected people.
