This lifelong friend happens to be James Hendry, who is the mechanical wizard behind Sharkwerks who are based in Fremont, California. Working alongside Alex Ross, they have elevated the Porsche GT cars, which is in many ways nearly perfect -- but made it more GT. This particular car was one of Sharkwerks' development mules when they were developing their formula, and Preston was there to watch it all unfold in the early years of the company. Fast forward years later, this particular car was offered for sale, and what better person to acquire it than the person who has a lifelong relationship with one of the founders of Sharkwerks.
