Well whānau we are privileged to welcome a rangatira of our rohe, a man whose name is synonymous with leadership, service, and Māori rugby, Tokatumoana Walden. Known affectionately as Toka, he has been a driving force behind the growth and legacy of Māori Rugby Union in Taranaki and beyond. From grassroots to governance, his contribution spans decades, culminating in last year’s centennial celebrations of Taranaki Māori Tribal Rugby. Nau mai, haere mai e Toka.
