Description
Henkels came out with dupe Hexclad pans for one third of the price. I bought the 3 piece set of Henkels pans for $87 from Costco online to do a side by side comparison with the original Hexlad pans. What I love about the Hexclad pans are that they are a non-stick stainless steel hybrid that is also oven safe. Henkels version are also non-stick stainless steel hybrid that is oven safe. The weight is the same and it has the paradigm pattern. Both look identical, but when cooking with it I noticed a big difference. I cooked a NY Strip steak on both pans and the Henkels pan quickly started to burn the oil, the pan started browing and caused a lot of smoke. I really wanted to love the Henkels pan because I wanted to offer my subscribers a more affordable cookware option, but unfortunately the pan did not perform as well as the Hexclad. I recommend investing even in one good pan from Hexclad instead of many cheap pans out there.
