And today we’ll be going to the source, a place called Kirkenes, in Northern Norway for a taste of the freshest Norwegian King Crab you can possibly get, plucked directly from the Barents Sea, boiled and steamed, and we’ll taste it directly from the sea! Fishing - But first Dirk took us fishing in the Barents Sea, we headed out on the boat and got fishing immediately. Along with a bunch of small fish, we managed to catch a small cod fish, which was perfect for dinner. Crab Safari - The Crab Safari is the highlight, and it’s one of the top reasons you should visit Kirkenes, Norway. You pull the crabs right out of the sea and cook them up moments later in the fisherman hut. Get ready for the best tasting crab of your life! Fish Meal - Finally, we headed back to the Snow Resort Kirkenes where the Chef made us an amazing dinner using the cod we caught in the morning.
