Description
Freelancing gives you freedom, but it also comes with pressure, unstable work, late payments, long hours, and a lot of responsibility.
After more than 10 years freelancing and almost 17 years in photography and video, I wanted to share the honest reality of what it’s actually like building your own creative business.
If you’re thinking about becoming a freelancer, quitting your 9–5, or turning photography/video into a full-time career, this video is for you.
Freedom over security isn’t for everyone, but for some of us, it’s worth it.

I’ve used a lot of tripods over the years, and at the moment, I probably own close to 10 different ones for different types of work.
Recently, Neewer sent me the LT39 tripod to test out, and after using it properly, I genuinely think this might be the best all-round tripod I’ve ever owned.
Just to be fully transparent, Neewer did provide the tripod for review, but they haven’t paid me to say anything specific, and all thoughts in this video are based on my own real-world experience using it.
In today’s video, I’ll go through why the Neewer LT39 has impressed me so much, where it fits into my workflow, and why I think it packs a serious punch for travel, commercial work, branding shoots, and everyday filmmaking.
