This wildlife documentary looks at the wildlife of a typical Southern African savanna and the complex web of life that exists in this habitat. Following the food chain from the plants to the herbivores, carnivores and scavengers, we paint a picture of a dynamic natural ecosystem. We meet the classic characters, such as elephants, essential to the renewal of the savanna, antelope species, apex predators such as lions and a diverse range of other species adapted for life in this iconic landscape.
