Description

After servicing this 1998 80-channel EU/UK radio it was time to test it. Mr Chippie was unable to park at the 5-mile point in his usual spot & I had local interference at my end accross all 80 channels. Recorded 29th May 2026 Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point to test this set as a low power static test. The radio was set for 4.0W for full power & 0.4W (400mW) for low power. Our standard replacement mike was used throughout. Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video. Richard, G0OJF Richard, 2E0FKC (Mr. Chippie) Lincolnshire, UK [email protected] Ebay stuff https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/g0ojf
