We had the absolute best time exploring Ethiopia, and we can't wait to share the highlights with you! We sipped some of the best coffee we've ever had, visited the National Museum to see the famous Lucy skeleton, and navigated the bustling Mercato Market. The food was a huge highlight too, from indulging in traditional dishes like injera and shiro to trying raw meat for breakfast—talk about stepping out of our comfort zone! We even learned how to make authentic Berbere spice with a local family, which was such an eye-opening experience. The countryside adventure was equally magical, with stops at the Debre Libanos monastery, the Portuguese bridge, and even spotting a family of gelada baboons! Whether we were exploring ancient history, tasting incredible food, or meeting the warm and welcoming locals, Ethiopia truly blew us away.
