Description
In this video, I explain how I can tell when something is wrong as a T5 complete paraplegic. A lot of people ask how paraplegics know when they need to pee, when they need to poop, or when something else is going on like a urinary tract infection. Over time, I’ve learned my own warning signs, body signals, and indicators that let me know something is off.
This video answers a question I got on social media, but I also go deeper into the other signs I notice and how I personally read what my body is telling me. Everybody with a spinal cord injury can be different, but these are the signs and patterns I’ve learned through my own experience as a paraplegic.
If you’re interested in spinal cord injury awareness, wheelchair life, paraplegic daily life, disability education, and real-life insight from someone living it, this video is for you.
