DON'T GAP Chevy SPARK PLUGS? On Vortec V8 Engines?

These Chevy Vortec V8 truck spark plugs come pre-gapped from the factory. Chevrolet says to not regap the spark plugs when installed in the truck's engine. The best practice is to check the Iridium or Platinum spark plug gap and then replace them with new spark plugs if they are damaged out of the box. Spark plug tips work for 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado GMT800 platform trucks. PARTS BELOW: The correct spark plug gap is .040" and ACDelco 41-110 Iridium spark plugs are my favorite for these trucks.
